In addition to our experience in Web and print design, the principals of citilinks have a combined 36 years in the lighting industry. We understand the science of lighting and the needs of your customers - architects, lighting designers, electrical engineers, contractors and distributors.

Jim Chapin, who oversees graphic design and site architecture, is APICS certified in Production and Inventory Control and has worked in production, cost accounting, traffic management and outside sales before enjoying 7 years in Marketing as a Product Manager for a major lighting manufacturer.

Originally schooled as a commercial artist, Jim is experienced in traditional layout and design, photography, audio and video production, computer illustration, 2D/3D animation and desktop publishing. As new technologies on the Internet have developed, Jim has continued to grow, acquiring new skills in the field of multimedia and web design including the use of Macromedia Flash and Director.

David Pacheco heads the programming department. Beginning his career as a drafter, David honed his skills through positions in product design, troubleshooting, customer service and served a major role in a systems change involving Oracle. Prior to founding citilinks, David held the position of Product Design Engineer and was the "Go-to-Guy" for product troubleshooting.

David was originally trained in FORTRAN, David has expanded his talents to other languages, including those used on the Internet - Cold Fusion, PHP, Perl CGI scripting, SQL, Java, Javascript development and the latest in HTML, DHTML, and XML. David is also extremely talented in the technical graphics area, being accomplished in the use of AutoCAD and various 3D modeling programs. He has further expanded his own knowledge and understanding of Internet programming by teaching classes in basic HTML. and working on Oracle database design and web integration.

This wide breadth of knowledge allows for a thorough and complete understanding of your business.
